Rise above the skies and beyond, 
Just Rise! 
Rise above the hill tops and beyond, 
Be Risen! 
Rise above the criticism, patriarchy and chauvinism. 

Woman, Rise! 
Rise above the trials and Tribulations! 
Just Rise! 
Rise and BE! 
Be Loud, 
Be Ambitious, 
Be Opinionated, 
Be Confident, 
Be Anything you want to be. 
Be anything you want to be.  

Rise, woman Rise! 
Rise above the skies and beyond.

 
As women, we have been told how to behave, when to behave, where to behave... We are told how to dress, what decent dressing is by people who know nothing about being a woman. Women are told where to speak, how to speak and when to speak. Who made men bosses over women? Patriarchy is normalized because many women are silent advocates. Society has normalized patriarchy and the church is its biggest sponsor. Rise, Woman Rise! is dedicated to every rebel, every non-conformist, every robust and radical female that refuses to conform and bow down to patriarchy. Remember, they cannot silence us all. Hence, Rise. Rise, Woman Rise!

I want to understand why church leaders thinks it's okay to blame the cheating ways and lusts of men on women and their dress code. Notwithstanding that some women do dress inappropriately to church but isn't it the responsibility of the man to control his thoughts? Church has been the BIGGEST advocate for patriarchy. I love God so much, I love my place of fellowship, but when I watch videos of female preachers preaching crap from the pulpit, I ask myself, which kind of God are they preaching to their congregations?
