Friends by Sarah-Leigh Elago
Two total strangers,
Who met through someone,
Who didn't really have much to say,
A people with no history.
The chemistry is there,
The connection is unstoppable,
Total opposites of each other,
YET builds a friendship so pure.
The longing begins,
The love develops,
The bond is build,
A new foundation is formed.
The calls begins,
The texts are uncontrollable,
The laughs, hugs are countless,
A new family is created.
I love you they say,
I miss you they say,
Not talking to you is impossible, they say...
It grows beyond friendship,
It deepens beyond words,
You hurt when they hurt,
You laugh when they laugh.
Friends, what an amazing gift from God to HIS creation,
Angels in disguise,
Miracle workers in the form of man,
God's extra hands on earth.
Friends, Thou art highly appreciated and loved. Thank you, for loving ME for ME.
I'm not sure whether it qualifies as a poem... But having people like Victor Pea , Hi Gwetu , Matthew Ayibakuro , Niita Gwaniite Ndakukamo , Kelebogile Ramokgopa and Esta Akwah in my life makes it so easy to love. These aforementioned words (👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽) are dearly inspired by YOU ALL. Thank you for accepting me for ME and for loving me unconditionally. You are ALWAYS here for me. There are not enough words to extend my heartfelt gratitude.
